Premier Inn in Newcastle Airport is just one of the hundreds of Premier Inn hotels in the United Kingdom. A budget friendly three star hotel located walks away to the airport, Premier Inn Newcastle Airport branch is the perfect hotel for tourists and business travelers who simply would want to have a restful sleep before embarking on a long flight and for arriving travelers who would want to recharged after one long midair journey.
Weeks before my flight to Cebu I got hold of my flight itinerary and hotel booking details. I was booked for one night stay in Premier Inn in Newcastle Airport and to fly with Emirates the next day. As I am staying in Newcastle overnight that means I have 24-hour long rest period before the long flight.
I am right now here in the comfort of my Premier Inn room wondering how fast the check in processing time was earlier. I just showed my ID to the reception desk staff and all done. Hotel check-in process was really quick and I got a room in no time.
I have my room on the second floor at room 52. After settling in, I checked for the room’s WiFi internet connectivity. Typically, more travelers consider internet connection in hotel rooms a requirement and Premier Inn offers it to its guests for free. For guests who prefer faster internet speed, upgrading to the hotel’s premium WiFi is just a click away but for a fee.
Premier Inn Newcastle Airport Restaurant
The hotel features a nice and cozy restaurant. But what matters most to me is the food on the menu and I wasn’t disappointed.
I had full lunch on board the ship before I disembarked today but I just can’t explain why I still craved for another full meal for dinner. 🙂 🙂 🙂 Anyway, expenses all paid by the company so why not get the most of it. Premier Inn serves variety of tasteful options for dinner to choose from – they have burgers, steaks and grills, pizzas, desserts and assortments of Asian flavors.
I wanted my dinner to have both European and Asian flavors on it. For the European flavor, I ordered beef burger layered with melted cheddar cheese and streaky bacon. And of course to treat my taste buds with that familiar Asian taste, I had tender tandoori spiced chicken breast, lamb kofta, smoked pork sausage with rice. And instead of water or soda, well, I had a glass of red wine.
This is for tomorrow but I knew it – it’s an eat-as-much-as-you-like or eat-all-you-can full breakfast. Eat like a king with Premier Inn’s Full and Continental breakfast offerings. From bacon, sausages, eggs croissants, breads and cereals to freshly-baked pastries, yogurts, fruit juices, coffee, tea – all yours for the taking.
Here’s more about the hotel:

With really clean and indeed cozy room to rest overnight, my stay in Premier Inn is just like staying in a higher rated class hotel. The room features one double bed with soft pillows and pillow-top mattress with lightweight comfy duvet. The en-suite toilet and bath room is big and very clean complete with towels. It features warm and cold water and a bath tub.
