Travel time from Newcastle, UK to Cebu (with stopover in Dubai) was about 19 hours. So when the plane landed Mactan – Cebu International Airport, the very first thing that came to my mind was a good, clean and comfortable place to rest for the night. And to have booked a room at Skyblue Hotel was a good decision – the room is very clean with comfy bed and just walks away to shopping and dining.
Oh I love this – this is luxury! There wasn’t a long line at the immigration when I arrived yesterday. In short, I was outside Mactan – Cebu International Airport’s new terminal in a breeze waiting for my Grab pick up. Travel time from the airport to Skyblue Hotel took less than an hour – not bad considering the traffic build up in Mandaue City.
The Front Desk
Arriving the hotel from a long flight, so getting a room the quickest, take shower and had dinner was on the top of my to-do list on checking in yesterday. And with the hotel’s efficient front desk staff, I got my room right away. The front desk on duty was very friendly, accommodating and of course very efficient – highly commendable!
I am in room 303 on the 3rd floor. It’s one of the quietest room in the hotel. It features one double bed, a cable connected TV, telephone (internal call only), WiFi internet access and toilet and bath.
The use of card key rather than conventional key for entering rooms means added safety and security – Skyblue Hotel takes this things into priority.
With firm and comfy mattress and blanket, soft pillows, I was able to relax and fall asleep immediately. Well, that was after I had a wholesome dinner out and a refreshing shower before jumping off to bed.
Skyblue Hotel is located near Fuente Osmena Circle just across Robinsons Place along General Maxilom Avenue. With restaurants, bars and shops within easy reach, I find Skyblue Hotel one of the best hotels to spend a night while in Cebu City.
